| Emergency Medical Services Training Specialist III |

The Emergency Medical Services(EMS) Training Specialist III, functions as an intermediate level developing, implementing, coordinating and conducting training and testing for licensure and certification of clinicians of emergency medical services, coordinating EMS education program approval process, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of EMS policies and procedures. This position provides technical advice and guidance to adjunct and contractual test evaluators and instructors.
Position Duties include but are not limited to:
- Approve, import and evaluate submitted continuing education into pre-hospital clinician registry
- Serve as the primary state National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) representative.
- Coordinate the EMS education program approval process for Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) programs throughout the state
- Process applications for emergency medical services clinicians' certifications/licenses ALS clinicians
- Manage assigned KACE Tickets
- Collaborate with other members of the Office of Clinician Services (OCS) to manage projects related to EMS clinician education and certification/licensure
